A big part of Christmas in Oakley is the chance for us to work together with each other and with our neighbors!  These are the current needs for Christmas in Oakley – if you’d like to get involved and help out, please email or call Jason and let him know!  Also, if you have other ideas about things we could do, please let us know!

·      Buy Candles, sand and small lunch bag for luminaries

·      Find 2-3 outdoor space heaters

·      Find Santa Suit

·      Get hot chocolate/coffee supplies

·      Connect with Businesses in Oakley about publicity

·      Help design ads and mailers, and distribute

 

Every Saturday in December

·      Take pictures, greet people (Saturday)

·      Gift wrap (Saturdays, 11-1)

·      Set up Santa Booth (Saturdays, 9-11)

·      Dress up as Santa Clause (Saturdays, 9-11)

·      Organize/Supervise Simple Children’s Craft (Saturdays, 10-1)

·      Tear Down Santa Booth (Saturdays 1-3)

 

December 5^th

·      Lead a group of Christmas Carolers (Saturday, 7-9 pm)

·      Join a group of Christmas Carolers (Saturday 7-9 pm)

 

December 12^th

·      Set up Coffee House @ Oakley Community Center (Saturday, 5-7 pm)

·      Sing, read poetry, play music @ Oakley Community Center (Saturday 7-9pm)

·      Serve coffee, drinks, snacks @ Oakley Community Center (Saturday 7-9pm)

 

December 19^th

·      Set up luminaries in Oakley Business District (4-6 pm)

·      Hang out in Oakley (6-9 pm)

·      Tear down Luminaries from Oakley Business District (9-10 pm)
